I recently purchased this Gi for training during the summer months. The jacket is lighter weight than the regular Fuji but still plenty thick with a very nice thick collar. This is a true BJJ gi and I expect it to hold up well--the quality is outstanding. A nice feature is that it is pre-shrunk. I can throw the gi in the dryer (don't have to wait on line drying) and I have not noticed any appreciable shrinkage. VERY satisfied with my purchase [...]

I'm a beginner in BJJ and this is my first gi. My criteria was to find a gi that was a economical, minimal flair, and lightweight.
This gi will fit the beginner's budget who are new to the sport and unsure about their future. It sports two patches on the back of the kimono and pants for a clean, minimalist styling. The lightweight allows me to move unhindered.
At the time of purchase there were two aspects that were unknown: fit and durability. At 5'10" 135lbs with a slim frame an A3 fits me perfectly. The sleeves come 1" past the wrist. The pants touch the tops of my feet. After four air dries and one low heat dry, the gi hasn't shrunk as far as I can tell.
Now on to durability. Out of the package I noticed stray threads on both the kimono and pants. After the fifth day of rolling, my partner gave a heavy tug on the collar and we both heard a ripping sound. The collar is still attached, so some stitching may have popped.
The gi fulfilled my three criteria, plus spot on sizing. However, it durability and longevity remain unknown.

Comments about Fuji Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Lightweight Blue Gi:
Excellent construction, much like my Koral double weave Gi but for half the price. I would caution anyone with broad shoulders though, it is a bit tight across the chest for me. I'm 5'10" 225lbs and wear a 48 regular blazer so if you're similar, go with the A5 and shrink.

Comments about Fuji Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Lightweight Blue Gi:
I have had 4 gis over that last few years. This is by far my favorite one. When fuji says lightweight, they mean it. The A4 doesn't feel much heavier than normal clothes. Fits true to size. I am a broad 5'10" 240lbs, with shorter arms, the A4 fit perfect(!!!) right out of the bag. Highly recommended. When it comes time to purchase another gi, I'll buy this one again.

Comments about Fuji Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Lightweight Blue Gi:
I got this gi a couple weeks ago. After opening the box, my first impression was how light this gi is. I wear an A4. It feels like it is barely there. Even so I have no fears of this gi ripping. I train with some big guys (one is 6'6" 300lbs) and they aren't doing any damage to this gi. I believe you simply can't beat Fuji gi's for the price. I will most likely order another one of these gi's for a tournament gi. Highly recommended!
